  SEAHAWKS YOUTH FOOTBALL AND           CHEERLEADING PROGRAM

Thank you for your interest in the San Francisco Police Activities League (SF PAL) Youth Football, Cheer and Dance Program, “The San Francisco Seahawks.”

SF PAL is a non-profit organization. The SF PAL Football Program was established in 1959 and the Cheerleading Program was officially established in 1983.

PAL participants represent the city of San Francisco in the Pop Warner Redwood Empire Jr. Football Conference. Pop Warner is a national program that celebrated its 75th Anniversary in 2004. This is a fun and rewarding activity for youth. The goal of the program is to enhance self-esteem as well as to emphasize the importance of teamwork, academics and sportsmanship.

The coaching staff consists of volunteers from various backgrounds and professions. Every coach undergoes a criminal clearance mandated by SF PAL. All of the coaches are volunteers and do not receive any money for their involvement.
